Yes, a couple of examples would include:

Latin America – Acquisition of a $1Billion fertilizer business. Currently I am engaged in due diligence on a multi-billion dollar expansion.

U.S. – Acquisition and merger of Crane and Eljer's bathroom fixtures companies into American Standard Brands.

In all instances above I led the HR due diligence and integration activities including labor negotiations, liability analysis and integration of acquired business into the parent Company.

I have also partnered on the sale and divestiture of a multi-million-dollar distribution business in Argentina and Chile.
Describe your most significant international responsibilities.
Aligning culture – Ensuring the principles and values of the parent organization are being driven throughout the global enterprise, but leaving room for local custom and tradition.

Strategy management – Using the people and resources of HR to help define and lead strategy execution.

Talent development and talent pipeline – Developing top tier talent that can be utilized globally. Building a pipeline of local knowledge and capability in order to identify arbitrage opportunities.

Barrier elimination – Empowering HR teams to execute autonomously. Use my vision to align execution and help remove barriers to success when needed.

I have lived outside of the US as parents were military. Longest stint was Germany for 4 years.

In my current and previous roles I spend ~50% of my time traveling internationally and partnering with business leaders in various countries (EMEA, Asia Pac, Latin America).
